Crafted from sturdy brass with a stainless steel flow spindle, an ABS thermal head cover/body, and a Noryl thermal head element/housing, the thermostatic radiator valve is highly durable. The lockshield also comprises polypropylene and brass elements for a similar strength.

Please note:

This product is not suitable for maximum hot working pressure. It must not be used in systems containing liquids or solutions other than water under any circumstance other than the addition of a proprietary central heating corrosion inhibitor, anti-freeze or cleaner to the system water in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
When removing the TRV head for decorating or replacement, turn the head setting to "5" as this allows an easier removal. A manual shut off cap is provided to defend the valve during any surrounding maintenance work.
