This Xpress copper press union coupling has so many benefits and ensures major savings in installation costs and time compared with traditional jointing methods as it is part of a completely heat-free jointing system that requires no additional solders, adhesives, compounds, gas, hot works permits or costly insurance.
With rapid, clean, heat-free jointing without complicated clamping techniques, long preparation procedures or waiting for adhesive to dry, this Xpress union coupling is safe without the need for naked flames. With a perfectly clean internal bore, less finishing or cleaning is required and there is no localised annealing from high temperature working. Without carbon deposits, internal solder runs or flux residue, this union coupling decreases the risk of corrosion while the system does not need to be 'dry' for effective jointing.
This XPress fitting has a wide range of approvals including Kitemark, WRAS and DVGW and electrical continuity is assured when the XPress jointing process is complete. This Xpress union coupling is ideal for a diverse variety of applications such as domestic maintenance and refurbishment, new build and large-scale public sector projects.
