The 22mm Worcester Greenstar System Filter is built to protect boilers and heating systems from damaging debris and sludge. Over time, central heating circuits collect rust, solder fragments, scale, and other contaminants, these can degrade heat exchangers, block valves, and shorten the life of pumps and the boiler itself. The Greenstar filter is placed in the return flow to intercept and trap both magnetic (iron oxide) and non-magnetic particles before they reach critical components.
This system filter includes built-in isolation valves with visual indicators, a detachable body for servicing or power flushing, a drainage point for ease of maintenance, and a one-way valve to simplify chemical dosing. Its internal magnet is capable of capturing up to 300g of magnetic debris, helping keep system water cleaner and reducing risk of sludge buildup.
