The Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 940 Combi Storage Boiler is a high-capacity combination boiler designed for larger homes where both space heating and DHW demand are significant. It is engineered to handle simultaneous hot water usage across multiple outlets while still supplying full heating performance. Its layout and dimensions are compatible with existing installation footprints, helping reduce retrofit complexity.

In terms of efficiency and features, the 940 includes the same IoniDETECT combustion monitoring technology found in the rest of the ecoTEC Plus range, which helps the boiler self-adjust to maintain optimal gas/air balance over time. It's also hydrogen-ready (rated to cope with up to 20 % hydrogen blend) to support lower carbon futures. Front access serviceability, modular internals, and smart-control compatibility make it practical for installers and homeowners alike.

Please note:

  • It is a legal requirement to have your boiler installed by a certified Gas Safe installer. Please do not attempt to install if you don't have the correct certification.
  • Please check the correct boiler type has been ordered before opening the box. Returns can only be accepted if the packaging is unopened and undamaged.
  • If once the boiler has been installed you notice something wrong, please contact your Gas Safe installer first and they'll work with the manufacturer to resolve it under the warranty.
  • There is a 15% restocking fee that applies to most returns.
