Grundfos high efficiency UPS2 circulator pumps feature advanced control modes which allow for the adjustment of their performance to the specific system requirements in one- and two-pipe heating systems. These sturdy, versatile pumps are made of cast iron and are suitable for commercial heating as well as domestic hot water recirculation. Their motor is designed with the use of permanent-magnet and compact-rotor ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor, which is highly efficient) technology, which facilitates low energy consumption as well as silent operation and is compliant with the ErP directive No 641/2009. They offer both fixed speed and proportional pressure settings.
Grundfos UPS2 pumps have a maximum operating pressure of up 10 bar and can deal with a flow rate of 5.7 m3/h. Models 25-80 (with a 1 1/2" connection) and 32-80 (with a 2" connection) are available. They're compact, with a port-to-port length of 180mm, which makes them an excellent replacement for older models that's easy to install in tight places.
