This Tubolit Pipe Insulation is your go-to solution for efficient and reliable plumbing and heating applications. With a generous 1-metre length, this foam polyethylene-based closed cell pipe insulation ensures a seamless fit for your pipes, providing superior thermal conductivity of 0.038W/mK at 40°C, 0.036W/mK at 20°C and 0.034W/mK at 0°C.
What's more, this pipe insulation goes beyond the basics. With noise reduction of up to 23dB (A), according to DIN 52218, it creates a quieter and more comfortable environment. It can withstand a wide range of temperatures from -45°C up to +105°C, making it suitable for a variety of settings. It boasts a low water absorption rate of only 0.5% volume after 40 days (according to DIN 43495) and an outstanding water vapour permeability (DIN52615) of greater than or equal to 16000.
For optimal safety, this Tubolit pipe insulation passes the ignition resistance test according to BS 476 Part 12:1991, showing no ignition source for both A and B.
