Speedfit PEX (Cross-Linked Polyethylene, an alternative to plastic and copper for home plumbing) barrier pipes are lightweight and flexible, making them perfect for underfloor heating installations. Thanks to their low thermal conductivity, these pipes are cooler and safer to touch when carrying hot water. They feature an inner barrier which prevents the flow of air.
Produced and kitemarked to BS7291: Parts 1, 2 and 3: Class S standard, Speedfit PEX pipes are accredited by the BSI (British Standards Institution), WRAS (Water Regulations Approval Scheme) and several other organisations. They're available in diameter sizes of 10mm to 22mm and multiple lengths to suit the specific requirements of your project. To function in a screed system, the pipes are attached directly to insulation with staples, floor clips or mounting rails.
