The double check valve from Reliance Water Controls is used for the prevention of back flow and back-siphonage contamination risks. It's made of DZR (dezincification resistant) brass, with EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer, a highly durable rubber compound) seals, acetyl copolymer check cartridges and a stainless steel spring. Thanks to the compact, lightweight construction, it's quick and easy to install.
What's more, the valve allows a high flow rate with minimum pressure drop, making it ideal for all Class 3 contamination risks as per water supply (water fittings) Regulations 1999. It has a 0.1 bar minimum pressure and 16 bar maximum pressure, with a maximum temperature of 80 degrees Celsius.
