This Quick-Step Unisound underlay is perfect for use with any Quick-Step Uniclic flooring in places with frequent footfall.
The dense 2mm thick Polyethylene foam has been engineered to reduce Reflecting sound (the sound of someone walking across a room) and Transmission sound (the sound that travels through the floor, i.e. in an apartment).
This underlay also has a damp-proof membrane built in which removes the need for an extra layer during installation, saving time and money. This membrane protects your floor excess rising moisture.
It is suitable to be used with underfloor heating or underfloor cooling. However, if you have a room that will have fluctuations in temperature fluctuations or extreme temperatures it is better to use the Uniclic Livyn Sun Heat Underlay.
This underlay has anti-bacterial properties for a more comfortable home and is resistant to mould and bacteria growth.
