The Series 535 range of high performance dial-up pressure reducing valves from Altecnic is designed for hot and cold systems in semi-commercial and industrial applications. They're pre-adjustable, so you can set them at a required discharge pressure between 1 and 6 bar before installation with the help of the adjustment knob with pressure setting indicator. For greater convenience, the internal cartridge and control knob mechanism come assembled as one unit, making it easy to remove for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
Thanks to the compensated seat design of these pressure reducing valves, the set downstream pressure is independent of upstream pressure variations. In addition, the hydraulic profile makes it entirely possible to achieve low pressure losses even when a large number of outlets are open. The control stem housing of the cartridge consists of a highly adhesion-resistant plastic material, which helps prevent the formation of scale deposits forming. Available in multiple sizes, these valves operate at a maximum inlet pressure of 25 bar at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
