This Copper Press Stop End provides a heat-free press-fit system that enables you to have a clean, quick and easy installation process saving you from any additional installation time and costs of traditional jointing methods. These are ideal for use with gas and solar installations, domestic maintenance and refurbishment, new build and large-scale public-sector projects with a temperature range of -24°C to 110°C at 16bar of pressure. This Xpress jointing system can be installed flame-free and requires no additional solders, adhesives, compounds, gas, hot-works permits or costly insurance.
This process can be completed without complicated clamping techniques, long preparation procedures or waiting for adhesives to dry. This stop end is low maintenance once installed and has a perfectly clean internal bore with less finishing or cleaning required and does not produce carbon deposits, internal solder run or flux residue, reducing the risk of corrosion. This Xpress jointing process assures electrical continuity once completed and has been produced to the highest British standards with a wide range of approvals from ATG, AVIS, BSI, CSTB, DNV-GL, DVGW, Kiwa Regulation, OVGW, RISE, SINTEF and WRAS.
