Easy to lay whether you're an expert or a novice, Palio Rigid is a floating floor that does not require adhesive and provides dimensional strength to your floor when installed over subfloor irregularities.

The Palio Rigid Sicilia Luxury Vinyl Tile features a beautiful natural timber design, which showcases a delicate blend of light blonde tones and dramatic streaks of charcoal grey. Perfect for bedrooms, home offices and dining rooms, this plank will bring a rugged charm to a wide range of contemporary interiors.

On the underside of Palio Rigid LVT is a pre-attached acoustic backing, which, when used in rooms above ground level, will reduce noise transfer to the rooms below by up to 19dB. On top of the tile is a 0.3mm PVC wear layer and a clear PU coating, which helps to protect your floor from everyday scuffs and scrapes.

The waterproof Palio Rigid Sicilia Luxury Vinyl Tile has an R9 slip resistance rating, meaning a low level of protection against slippages. It can be used above underfloor heating systems as well, though the temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.

Installation Tips

  • Easy to lay flooring for experts and DIY enthusiasts alike, Palio Rigid's innovative patented 2G click-locking mechanism allows you to install your planks in the same way you would lay standard laminate flooring. Its simple tongue and groove design remove the need for adhesives to hold the plank in position. The only tool you will need to lay your flooring is a sharp concave bladed knife, which you can use to cut your planks to size. For best results, gently score a line across the width of your plank surface and snap it by keeping it face-side up and applying downward pressure on either side of your line.

Please note:

  • A 5mm expansion gap is required when installing your flooring.
  • Please refer to the installation instructions for rooms with high temperature fluctuations. While Palio Rigid is compatible with underfloor heating systems, the temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.
  • With a slip resistance rating of R9, this tile provides low levels of protection against slippages. For this reason, they are best suited to rooms that rarely get exposed to water. If, however, you wish to lay R9 tiles in a bathroom, it is vitally important you use a towel or bathmat to dry your feet before stepping onto your LVT floor.
