One thing that makes Palio Core Vetralla such an easy-to-install and user-friendly flooring, is its ability to be installed directly onto hard floors, even if the surface is uneven. This can be a common issue when working with wooden and tiled floors. In most cases there is no need for a self-levelling screed to be applied beforehand, saving you time on each job.

Another time-saving feature comes from the tile's built-in underlay, which removes the hassle of having to install a layer of underlay before you begin to lay your floor. This built-in underlay will help reduce noise transfer to the rooms below by 19dB.

With an R10 slip resistance rating and excellent waterproof properties, this Palio Core Vetralla Luxury Vinyl Tile is perfectly suited to bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms where spillages may be common. It is even suitable for underfloor heating systems providing the temperature does not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.

Installation Tips

Palio Core has been designed for non-expert fitters, ensuring you can lay your floor with minimal stress and hassle. The system's ingenious patented 2G click-lock mechanism allows you to install the planks in the same way you would lay standard laminate flooring. This simple tongue and groove process eliminates the need for any adhesives. As for tools, you will only require a sharp concave bladed knife, which is needed for cutting your planks to size. Simply score a line across the width of your plank face and snap it by keeping it face-side up and applying downward pressure on either side of your line.

Please note:

A 5mm expansion gap is required when installing your flooring.
Please refer to the installation instructions for rooms with high temperature fluctuations. While Palio Core is compatible with underfloor heating systems, the temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.
With a slip resistance rating of R10, this tile provides moderate protection against slippages and is suitable for rooms that encounter occasional wet conditions. When used in a bathroom, it is advised that you use a bath mat as an additional precaution.
