Description

Much loved for its hardwearing properties, water resistance and excellent durability, you can install Palio Core Bolsena Luxury Vinyl Tiles over uneven surfaces and on most hard floor types. This means floors are much quicker to lay, thanks to there being no requirement for applying self-levelling screed beforehand in most cases* (please add a caveate to refer to the manufacturers installation guidelines as we do not reference the surface regularity)

This tile is also fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, providing the temperature does not exceed 27 degrees Celsius. Due to the tiles waterproof and slip resistance properties, they are also ideally suited to rooms including kitchens and bathrooms.

Each tile also has a built-in layer of underlay, which removes the need for you to apply sheets of underlay to your floor prior to laying your tiles. This in-build underlay will help to reduce noise transfer to rooms below by up to 19dB.

Installation Tips

Palio Core has been designed for non-expert fitters, ensuring you can lay your floor with minimal stress and hassle. The system's ingenious patented 2G click-lock mechanism allows you to install the planks in the same way you would lay standard laminate flooring. This simple tongue and groove process eliminates the need for any adhesives. As for tools, you will only require a sharp concave bladed knife, which is needed for cutting your planks to size. Simply score a line across the width of your plank face and snap it by keeping it face-side up and applying downward pressure on either side of your line.

Please note:

A 5mm expansion gap is required when installing your flooring.
Please refer to the installation instructions for rooms with high temperature fluctuations. While Palio Core is compatible with underfloor heating systems, the temperature must not exceed 27 degrees Celsius.
With a slip resistance rating of R10, this tile provides moderate protection against slippages and is suitable for rooms that encounter occasional wet conditions. When used in a bathroom, it is advised that you use a bath mat as an additional precaution.
