Designed to be used alongside pipe freeze sprays, an ingenious solution that freezes pipe sections before carrying out general repairs and maintenance in DIY and domestic plumbing tasks, the disposable Arctic Elite Freezing Jacket allows you to apply your pipe freeze spray in a controlled and targeted way, both quickly and with minimal fuss.
Compatible with most common plumbing materials, including steel, plastic, iron, lead and copper, the jacket will envelop a small section of pipework, allowing you to apply the pipe freeze spray efficiently. Once the pipe sections are fully frozen, you can get to work without having to drain down or turn off your water supply at the mains.
Use the cable ties provided at either end of the jacket to securely seal it around the pipe, which will prevent the aerosol from leaking out of the sides during application. Once this is done, make a small incision in the top of the jacket to create the hole into which you will insert your pipe freeze spray's nozzle adaptor pipe
