The Grundfos UPS3 is a high-efficiency ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) circulator pump designed for circulating liquids in domestic heating systems with either variable or constant flow rate. It automatically controls the differential pressure by adjusting its performance to the specific heating demand without the need for any external components. UPS3 can be used as stand-alone or integrated circulator pump in existing systems as a replacement or in new heating systems, making it extremely versatile.
These pumps, which also feature a highly useful deblocking device, are a convenient solution because they're easy to install and not too noisy, less than 32dB. They also benefit from speed control via a low-voltage PWM (Pulse Width Modulation, a method for generating an analogue signal using a digital source) signal profile A (heating). They can operate at a maximum system pressure of 10 bar at a liquid temperature from 2°C to 95°C.
