This innovative inhibitor combines three types of inhibitors - organic particle binders, anodic inhibitors, and cathodic inhibitors - forming a robust defence against debris, creating a protective layer on metal surfaces, and preventing limescale formation.

It also incorporates enhanced pH buffering to maintain the system water's pH within the optimal range of 6.5 to 8.5, which not only prevents corrosion but also inhibits limescale build-up.

The unique formulation treats up to 130 litres of system water or the equivalent of 16 radiators and 250m² of underfloor systems, offering a quick and convenient solution without the need for system drainage.

Fernox F1 Express supports boiler manufacturer warranty requirements, and when used alongside Cleaner F3 gas, it can lead to energy savings of up to 15%, promoting efficiency and sustainability. With approvals from NSF CIAS, KIWA, and Belgaqua, this non-toxic and environmentally friendly inhibitor provides peace of mind, assuring users of a reliable and responsible solution for their central heating systems.

Please note:

  • In line with local regulations and best practices, and for long-term protection of the system, concentration levels should be maintained and checked annually as part of the boiler or system service.
  • One single dose of this product treats and protects a larger sized property with a heating system of 130 litres, up to 16 radiators or 250m² of underfloor heating and can be dispensed directly into a radiator air vent, system filling loop, or via a TF1 Filter using the appropriate adapter supplied with the product.
  • If dosing via a TF1 Filter, the filter should be emptied of any collected contaminants prior to treating with the product. In single feed indirect cylinder, e.g. Primatic; or similar, potable water chemicals must be used. Fernox recommends untreated or sludged systems are thoroughly cleaned and flushed in accordance with local regulations and legislation including BS 7593:2019 and Benchmark, using Fernox Cleaner F3 Express, before treating with Fernox Protector F1 Express, as existing debris can damage the installation.
