Find out moreThe ideal heating solution for your rooms if you have laminate or floating engineered wood floors, this Electric Underwood Heating Mat by BodenWärme is engineered with practicality and effectiveness in mind and offers a robust and reliable performance that comes backed by a lifetime guarantee, providing you with unparalleled peace of mind.
Designed to achieve ultimate comfort throughout the year by heating your rooms to an optimal and comfortable temperature, the even positioning of the heat source ensures that the heat is spread evenly and consistently. This is in stark contrast to the traditional radiator heating system, which often results in uncomfortable hot and cold spots, particularly in large rooms. The temperature profile of BodenWärme's underfloor heating closely aligns with the ideal heating distribution, keeping your feet warm while maintaining a comfortably cool head.
The BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Mat boasts a dual-core wire element structure with a simple, single connection point - a distinctive feature setting it apart from other carbon film systems. The ultra-thin encapsulated 1mm wire minimizes the increase in floor height, preserving the integrity of your flooring. The tough Fluoropolymer heating element insulation guarantees durability, ensuring that your heating solution stands the test of time.
The BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating Mat is not only efficient but also safe, boasting full CE certification and ROHS compliance for your guaranteed safety. Operating at AC230V +/-10% 50/60Hz, this heating mat is not just a practical choice but is a reliable solution for the comfort and well-being of your home.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you will first need to work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. Once this is done, you should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
