This combined air (deaerator) and dirt separator is demountable and features a high capacity auto air vent, fast bleed valve and drain valve. With greatly reduced commissioning times after the initial fill, this combined separator provides a longer system life due to the air and dirt elimination.
As air collects in the air chamber before being automatically vented, floating dirt can be removed by opening the valve situated under the air vent. This same valve is used for releasing air when filling the system. The large collector ensures that flushing is only require now and then and can be flushed while fully operational without the need to shut down.
With an internal stainless steel concentrator to aid removal of air and dirt, the smooth surfaces, of this stainless steel separator, lead to lower friction. Additionally, the stainless steel material will not degrade in service thanks to its excellent resistance to corrosion and it is extensively more resilient to oxidation by water and biocides than carbon steel. Therefore, the stainless steel is not contributing to oxidation, sludge's, etc. The thermal properties of stainless steel are far superior to iron or carbon steel.
