What are press-fit fittings?

What is the “press-fit” method?

How do press fittings work?

- Gas: A pressure range of 22 mbar to three bars

- Oil lines: Different seal rings required
Where NOT to use press fittings
Press fittings should not be used in applications where the pressure exceeds the manufacturer’s recommendations or when transmitting corrosive fluids or gases (including medical gases).

Why does having “no flame” for press fitting matter?
