This White PVC Flexi hose is suitable for the connection of plastic or copper pipe onto a male thread appliance such as a tap or toilet and has been designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK by John Guest Speedfit. The PVC hose material significantly reduces the possibilities of the hose 'kinking' and ensures it is easier to clean.
On one end, this hose features a push fit connection for a supply pipe and on the other end, there is a 90° bent nut which can be tightened onto a side entry tap, toilet or male thread. If the need arises to demount the pipe, simply push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release. This fitting ensures an easier working environment in confined places and removes the need for hot works on site. Installation can be reduced by around 40% against traditional fixing methods.
The strictest control is maintained by virtue of the fact that design and manufacture are carried out in modern purpose-built manufacturing centres in west London and at Maidenhead in Berkshire. Maintaining control over the whole process from initial tool design and tool making through to final assembly and testing ensures that this Flexi hose is produced to the highest quality.
